Congratulations to all 3rd Phoenix League Finalists,
Happy New Year 2013, here are the details for the upcoming 3rd Phoenix League Finals.
3rd Phoenix League Finals
@ FLAIR, Shenton House #01-06, 3 Shenton Way Singapore
20th January 2013 (Sunday)
Starts at 1pm Registration & Warm up, Doors open at 1230pm.
Lower Division Finals (Starts at 2pm, registration at 1pm)
Group 1 - Top 4 Teams
Group 2 - Top 3 Teams
Group 3 - Top 3 Teams
Total 10 teams in finals
Round Robin Stages 10 teams will be divided into 5 teams per group (2 groups) and split as much as possible but randomly appointed. (Teams from same location will be split into different groups if possible and group champions will be split up too as much as possible)
Format: 3 sets of 3 games
Trios 901 (1 game of 901, Open In, Master Out)
Doubles (B & C Class) 501- 501- 501 (Open in, Open Out)
Singles (BB Class) 501 - Cr - Choice (Open In, Master Out)
It will take 5 rounds to complete (each team play against 4 other teams + 1 BYE round)
After the Round Robin Stages, top 2 from each group (4 teams) will proceed to SEMI FINALS (2 rounds, registration at 730pm, start at 745pm)
3 sets of 3 games
Doubles (B & C Class) 501 - 501 - 501 (Open In, Open Out)
Doubles (BB & C Class) 501 - Cr - 501 (Open In, Master Out)
Doubles (BB & B Class) 501 - Cr - Choice (Open in, Master Out)
Winners will fight for 1st and 2nd place in FINALS
Losers will get joint 3rd.
Higher Divison Finals (Starts at 4pm, registration at 3pm)
Group 1 - Top 2 Teams
Group 2 - Top 2 Teams
Total 4 Teams in Finals
Round Robin Stages (4 teams will play against each other)
Format: 3 sets of 3 games
Doubles (A & BB Class) 701 - Cr - 701 (Open In, Master Out)
Doubles (GM & BB Class) 701 - Cr - Choice (Open In, Double Out)
Doubles (GM & A Class) 501 - 501 -501 (Freeze Rule, Team 501, Double In, Double Out)
It will take 3 rounds to complete (each team play against 3 other teams).
Top 2 from the Round Robin Stages will fight for 1st and 2nd place,
Bottom 2 from the Round Robin Stages will be joint 3rd.
Finals (1 round, registration at 8pm, start at 830pm)
5 sets of 3 games
Trios 701 - 701 - 701 (Double In, Double Out)
Doubles (A & BB Class) 701 - Cr - 701 (Open In, Master Out)
Singles (GM Class) 501 - Cr - 501 (Pro Mode, Double In, Double Out, Split Bull)
Doubles (GM + A Class) 501 - 501 - 501 (Freeze Rule, Double In, Double Out)
Trios 701 - 701 - 701 (Double In, Double Out, same as first set)
Dinner will be served at 7pm.
